Welcome to the Old Town General Store!
Happy New Year from Rhea Van Atta, owner of the Old Town General Store! 2014 was a big year for our little store. We grew our business by listening to your suggestions and added a wider variety of Michigan gift items, fresh local produce, organic meat, personal products, and much more. We hosted the weekly Old Town Farmers Market, and events like the Concerts in the Courtyard music series, Winey Wednesday and Frothy Friday tastings, Pickle-Palooza, the Off-Center Art Fair, and Renegade Theater Festival performances, just to name a few.
2015 will feature more of the same; an expanded meat selection including venison and lamb, a bigger and better Old Town Farmers market, added performances in our courtyard including open mic nights, and all kinds of new products and events. Keep up-to-date with us via our Facebook page and website.
“Shopping in the Old Town General Store isn’t a task, it’s more like a trip to see a friend.” Sydney Ford from the Capital Area Women’s Lifestyle Magazine wrote a nice article on the Old Town General Store in the January 2015 edition. http://cawlm.com/article/old-town-general-store-truly-michigan-made/
